In search of the Perfect VegeBurger

The information below is provided from airports I flew out of or into in the past few years. The information is only as current as the date I flew in. So use it at your own risk. If I could get a veg something, you are guaranteed a non veg or (ham) something 🙂

An “*” next to the airport: Great food!
“-” No Food on the field
“+”Restaurant on the field or within walking distance
Airport Name hyper-linked ( I blogged about it!)

This is work in progress, so check back often! Do leave your comments!

Disclaimer: Things change all the time. This information is provided as-is and might have changed since the time I last visited. Always check your AFD or other current sources before making your plans.

Feel free to drop me line if you think you have information that will help other pilots plan their next adventure.

I have been to the Porterville California airport and eaten at the Airway Cafe and it was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. I think you meant Porterville instead of Potterville. ???

    Thanks for all your work.

Thanks. I think people still call it $100 hamburger, but the cost of flying has increased a lot since that term was coined 🙂

Greetings from Solvang, CA. Suggest you change the indicator mark on Lompoc CA municipal airport to read (+), since the South border of the narrow East-West rectangular field abuts the downtown area, which is a short walk from the GENAV public tie-down area, and loaded with restaurants and miscellaneous eateries – although no idea if any of them are good or not 😉
Love your Blog, BTW. You a veggie, or that just your catchy choice of a burger title? This replier’s a die-hard Vegan . . .
