I’ve always believed that safety begins with the pilot.
I have always been a big proponent of safety, through recurrent training, safety seminars, building confidence through actual experiences with flight instructors, experienced pilots and sometimes even with novice pilots. And sometimes taking the leap of faith in oneself to attempt, learn and experience that which is abnormal.
While, it is okay to take calculated risks, to truly experience adventure, one must be willing to work outside the box, and outside one’s comfort zone.
Great things can happen then.
